Cleaning Closets® is an ongoing oral history project that's been collecting and sharing true coming out stories from BOTH sides of the closet door since 2012. This includes the perspectives of the LGBTQ+ individuals as well as that of the family and friends to whom they come out in hopes of finding common ground and eliminating the stigma and bigotry that queer communities often face.

CREATOR BIO

J-Star grew up in a small town in Kentucky. He is a multimedia producer with a focus on theatre and performing arts. He graduated with a BA in Theatre and French from Morehead State University and is currently anticipated to graduate with an MS in Leadership for Creative Enterprises at Northwestern University.
